ABOUT US: PROGRESS CITY, USA
Constructed in 2005 as the first permanent exhibition site for the Farm Progress Show, Progress City, USA has a long history of providing the Central Illinois region with a durable outdoor exhibition space. Located adjacent to the Richland Community College campus in Decatur, IL, the show site continues to provide opportunities for special events, corporate training activities, family gatherings, and more to be held in an easily-accessible location.
Onsite Amenities
As an outdoor exhibition space, Progress City is best suited for events during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. However, we do also have enclosed exhibition spaces that can accommodate events during the winter months. The site features nine enclosed event spaces, four sets of enclosed restrooms, outdoor lighting, and electrical service throughout the 93-acre fenced-in showgrounds. Through a partnership with Richland Community College, whose campus is adjacent to the site, Progress City is able to provide additional event-related rentals & catering services for many events. Overnight site security and 24/7 site access are provided through the college’s Public Safety Department.
